Annotation
imbaori mantle is an accessory of a samurai costume, worn both with armor suit and asa-kamishimo. At the dorsal part has a kamon crest. This particular jimbaori belonged to a high-ranking samurai; it is made of the white silk plush with dark-violet lining. At the breast part has an ivory button. The kamon at the back is kenbishi剣菱.
