Annotation
An example of traditional lacquer-coated tableware. The vessel has a very rare kame bowl shape, designed to be carried with two hands. The bottom has three small feet. The exterior is brown lacquer, the interior red lacquer. The vessel seems to be aimed for nabe soup.
