This bow comprises a set with quiver No. 2044—12 and arrows No. 2044—1—10. Most likely collection No. 2044 is made up of weapons from different Eskimo groups. Quiver No. 2044—12 and arrows No. 2044—1—5 are Chugach weapons. The attribution of bow No. 2044—11 and arrows No. 2044—6—10 to the Chugach is doubtful. It is possible that they were made by the Yup’ik Eskimo of western Alaska.
