Annotation
The basic types of arrows which the Chugach used for hunting sea animals and the light harpoons which the Kodiak Alutiit used have been documented: we know who collected them, when they were collected and the people from whom they were obtained. For hunting otters and seals the Chugach mainly used bows and arrows and the Kodiak Alutiiq light harpoons launched with the aid of throwing boards.
