Hour ring with gnomon-needle and latitude selection scale are fixed on eight-angeled base of compass box. Hour scale III-ХII-IХ with points in 1/2 hour. Latitude selection scale 6°-82° with points in 2° and numbering in 10. 8-rhumb wind rose and line of magnetic declination are on the bottom of the compass. Dial is placed into case with printed table with list of 153 cities and thier latitudes (1-minute accuracy); on the reverse side is application instruction in German and French.
