Vertical South sundial

Fragment of unknown device. Folding gnomon is fixed on the half-oval plate with 3 swallow-tail-shape ledges. Clock is designed for latitude of about 48°. 6-12-6 hour scale with 1/4 hour points. A top under a tree and a gunner with artillery sight are engraved on the reverse side.
