Annotation
Brass ball with engraved map. The globe is belted with equatorial ring with hour scale, meridian ring with Sun declination scale around the cut designed for gnomon (missing), two rings connecting equator and meridian. The globe map has French geographic names, incomplete coordinate grid (longitude arcs between the tropics). Zero meridian - Ferro island.
