Annotation
“Agashsyuk” bags (Nos. 2913—15, --16) were sewn from cormorant skins. I. G. Voznesenskii wrote about how they were used: “The Katmai women made these as gifts for their husbands who used them to carry needles, thread, etc., to repair their kayaks should they be torn; all hunters carried with them bags like these” (PFA RAN. F. 141. Op. 1 up to 1918. No. 9. L. 26).
